❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥Someone Asked Why?❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥

Super women took a nose dive into the ground. She hit with such force she was buried for weeks. A heavy equipment operator was called in by God. He dug till he found her. She was still breathing but emotionally frail.

He took one look at her and he felt something he has never felt before. So when God said take care of her and love her......he did. He tried to walk away but couldn't....God filled him with an abundance of all the qualities he already possessed and said use these now to help her grow to her full potential as one day you will need what she has to give......

So he put her on a pedestal and kept her dusted and polished for years. Everyday he would polish and shine her and gave her everything he had inside as God instructed.

As the years slowly passed........and she shined like the brightest star in the sky......(He did an awesome job).....but now he was slowly losing himself.

She asked God with tears in her eyes " where is he going?" God said "he is going back to where he first came. It's a long hard journey and he needs you to help him get there safely."

I will give you an abundance of all you need to help him on his journey back to me, for that is where he came from.

So to those who ask why? Because I believe in fairy tales...He is my knight in shining armor...... He literally guarded me with his life.....

Boredom

Oh My .............Time sure does fly by when your sitting on a teeter-totter and hoping the other person doesn't jump off while your in the air.........."BOREDOM"

Boredom is bad in the middle of winter when there isn't many options of something to do that interests the "SIGNIFICANT" other. That would be the loved one with EOAD. But we've muddled through the last couple of weeks unscathed by it all.

We took a few rides to no-where and back....He helped the neighbor get the snow and ice off his house......he watched an old trapper friend skin and stretch beaver......and he went to the woods with our son-in-law and ran skidder for the day......and the rest of the time he complained that he wanted to trap...he wanted to go fishing....he wants a puppy........

He said one morning...
"I'm really crabby today"...I asked "why?"..... He said "I'm just frustrated that I don't have the money to do the things I want"....I said "Yah! I know what you mean. I get frustrated too." He turned and look me straight in the eyes and said...."What do you have to complain about?"....................I kissed him on the forehead and went back to doing what I was doing. Sometimes it's nice when he forgets what we are talking about right in the middle of the conversation.

Anyway...his short little trips from home, away from me and the girls has reminded him that he doesn't like to be away from us........it scares him when I'm not near .......he loves being home with us even though he can't do all the things he thinks he wants to do and he is grateful once again that he has me and the girls and a family that loves him, takes care of him and keeps him safe. : )

UNCLE!!!!!

Okay........ that was one too many days, being totally cooped up. Especially with a giant 7 year old and 2 energetic, large dogs! OOPS....I meant Tom and the girls. hee hee. So today we all piled in the car and went for a nice long ride in the woods.

There has been some logging going on down our way. They are done now but left a nice logging road to drive on. It's still plowed and the cold temps has it frozen up good.

It was such a nice drive with the sun glistening, through the trees and dancing on the snow. We noticed the birds were out and looking a little happier about the warmer temps too.

We let the girls out to run and play. We were "hope-ing" to tire them out some. I think it worked. They've been sleeping all evening instead of bugging me with their toys.

Warmer temps ahead so we can at least get out and play and go for walks. Whew...Wasn't sure I was going to survive that one : )

Brrrrrr

YOW!!!!! 40 below.......Okay, that's cold........Even Lilly agrees......The girls make their morning trips outside short and sweet and back to bed with Dad where it's toasty warm.

If I attempt to crawl back in bed with them all, the girls pester Tom till he's howling like a banshee. I give up, get up and they all go back to sleep. Yah I know, sounds like a conspiracy to me too!

On cold days I use aroma therapy to keep everyone happy. I cook and bake and keep everyone full and they reward me by telling me I'm the best cook in the whole world. Cold outside and full bellies = a nap! : )

Yesterday Tom made his first trip to town since August. Not by choice : ( He had to have a pesky old wisdom tooth pulled. It all went well.

When we were sitting in the dentist waiting room we could hear a little boy screaming his head off. The receptionist said he was only getting his teeth cleaned. Tom and I chuckled and than I told Tom he had better not act like that when we get back there. ; } He laughed out loud.......he likes my sense of humor.

A few more days of this really cold stuff still ahead of us........I may have to get a little more creative to keep everyone happy...........hmmmm?

SNOW Business

I went to town the other day......Oh my! Now there's some snow hills : ) People were talking "Can't see when pulling into an intersection....snow three feet deep on roofs...... and it's only the 1st of January! ...... Back in 1995 there was a lot of snow that year."

It did take us two days to push this last batch of snow out. It didn't help that the winch on the 4-wheeler burnt up and the battery died. Got a new battery and the neighbor had a winch and put it on for Tom. Whew.......back in business. Snow plowing that is : )

Guess it was a good thing this year Tom plowed the yard. At least we have room yet there for snow but the driveway is closing in on us. Could be snowed in by spring if this keeps up.

Tom was taking snow off the roof again before it got too deep. It's harder to do when you let it go too long. This time I didn't worry about him falling off. SOFT landing below. The worst that could of happened he got buried but I'm the shovel man and could have dug him out. I've had to dig Mag out of a few snow banks. hee hee

Okay yes I'm loving the snow and I'm out playing in it most days with the girls. When it's not below zero that is.

More........... "SNOW"

OOFTA! 31 below this morning....Now that's a little chilly! Yesterday we got MOST of our 12" of snow plowed. We worked at it from like 9 AM to 3 PM when it was time to settle in and watch the Vikings lose.

That was a lot of snow to move with a little plow and no where to go with it on our long driveway. The ditches are full and the banks are too high for our little plow. It's like mowing a hay field with a lawn mower. : ) BUT we still have room in our yard to put snow. Smart thinking on Tom's part to keep the yard plowed out. ; }

I moved some snow around with the shovel and I raked the snow off the outhouse roof and the shack. Our house roof is too high for me so Tom gets to do that with my assistance. I get to hold the ladder that he climbs to reach the roof. But it will have to wait till it warms up just a bit.

Well everybody went back to bed. The girls went out to go potty and b-lined it back into the house and back into bed with Dad where it's nice and warm and all I hear is a trio of snoring coming from that room. Zzzzzzzzz

Welcome 2009

Welcome 2009! Tom said "thank you GOD for a good year last year and please let this year be good too! And thank you for all the people in our lives who love us and help us." I said "AMEN!"

Tom said he's getting a little tired of snow plowing like almost every other day. I said well I guess I can go out and give it a whirl. hee hee.......That's funny because he knows
I'll try to do anything once but a lot of times things like that turn out sad for me. Sooo he said "You stay off that plow...you'd probably fall off and get run over or something! You better stick to the shovel." "humph! I would not".......... I said.

The girls are loving the snow. Tom has some lanes plowed out into the yard for them as the snow is too deep for our fat little Mag to navigate. Lilly likes to hide behind the snow hills and pounce on Mag as she strolls by. Than the chase is on. Mag stomps Lilly into the snow when she catches her. Lilly springs up out of the snow with her mane all raised and wild looking and goes in for another stomping .....................

So we got yesterdays snow cleaned up today and tomorrow we're getting a bunch more. Wahoo!!! I love the snow.........
